HIROSHIMA PEACE DAY

BBPS, Rohini organised Hiroshima Peace Day celebrations in an effort to enlighten the students to the message of universal peace and love. A special assembly was organised by the senior students based on the theme of world peace. The assembly began with a small presentation on the significance of HIROSHIMA PEACE DAY and the lessons that mankind should learn from the impact of the atom bomb on the lives of millions of people of Hiroshima and Nagasaki. This was followed by a small prayer asking for lord’s mercy and love sung by the senior choir. The senior girls presented dramatization of Rabindranath Tagore’s poem ‘Freedom” and the programme ended with the release of white balloons by the respected Principal, Ms. Rekha Sharma, Vice Principal, Ms. Bandhana Sharma and the Headmisstress, Ms. Meera Wadhwa, Ms. Alka Tandon, Ms. Anjana and the school students.
