A workshop “I share because I Care” was organized in the school for the mothers of the students of class 1V. the main highlights of the workshop were the need of effective communication with children, sharing right information at right time and making the children aware of the difference between good touch and bad touch so that they can protect themselves from any kind of abuse to a great extent. The workshop was conducted by school counselor Ms. Sangeeta Chopra who emphasized the importance of making children strong and aware , so that they can confidently face any difficult situation with their parents support. According to School principal, Ms. Rekha Sharma such workshops are very important and parental awareness on these issues is essential for the children’s well being.

 The school organized a workshop on Motivation followed by a session on Carrier counseling for students of Std. 1X and X on 18th Nov 2010. The speaker Mr Satnam Singh encouraged the students to develop positive thinking, to be more creative and innovative in their approach and to identify their qualities if they want to realize their full potential and become successful in life.The workshop was very inspirational in nature and students greatly benefited from it.
During the carrer counseling session the speaker covered conversational & non-conversational career options and emphasized that career decisions should be taken after much thoughts and discussion and rat race should be avoided at any cost.
Over all it was a wonderful experience for the students who were very attentive and took every word very seriously and interacted freely with the speaker to sort out their doubts & queries.

A workshop on” Save  Electricity” was conducted by Tata power (as part of their School Energy Conservation) for  our students in our school premises on 11th Nov 2010, Thursday. Students of class V1 to 1X participated in the workshop which aimed at spreading awareness in children about the need of conserving electricity and thereby conserving our natural resources. Saving energy not only reduces wastage but also reduces emission of green house gases that lead to global warming and climate change. Ms. Sonia Sharma who conducted the workshop answered the questions raised by the enthusiastic crowd.

A Quiz competition an essay writing competition and a poster making competition was also organized for students of Std. V1 to 1X on the topic “Save Electricity” to motivate and encourage students to think about and work towards this important issue.

Principal Ms. Rekha Sharma encouraged the students to spread the message to their families and their friends and appreciated the effort put in by the students towards for this important issue.
